LinuxVPS新手教程-啟用未使用的硬盤空間擴充LVM

SSH登陸后,查看現有分區、掛載及swap情況:
可以看到大概8G的硬盤空間分布情況

df -hal

free -m

查看硬盤設備列表:

硬盤/dev/xvdb尚未劃分使用,接下來我們為dev/xvdb分區

fdisk /dev/xvdb

[[email protected] ~]# fdisk /dev/xvdb

#輸入n,新建分區

#輸入P,主分區

#目前是xvdb第一個分區輸入1

#敲回車,默認就行了

#這里輸入t,指定分區的格式為8e (LVM)

#這里輸入w,保存退出

重啟使其生效

reboot

重啟后,再次運行fdisk -l,可看到我們劃分的xvdb1已經生效了

[[email protected]]# fdisk -l

執行vgs查看卷組情況,可以看到只有一個卷組VolGroup00(此名稱因系統而異)

創建物理卷,并將物理卷加入到組VolGroup00(此名稱因系統而異)

pvcreate /dev/xvdb1

vgextend VolGroup00 /dev/xvdb1

[[email protected]~]# pvcreate /dev/xvdb1
Physical volume “/dev/xvdb1” successfully created
[[email protected]~]# vgextend VolGroup00 /dev/xvdb1
Volume group “VolGroup00” successfully extended

執行vgdisplay查看卷組空間情況

可以看到大概有21.97G的空間可以擴充使用,我們將卷組下的卷LogVol00擴容21.96G

lvresize -L +21.96G /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00

resize2fs /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00

[[email protected]~]# lvresize -L +21.96G /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00
Rounding up size to full physical extent 21.97 GB
Extending logical volume LogVol00 to 27.81 GB
Logical volume LogVol00 successfully resized
[[email protected]~]# resize2fs /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00

運行完成后,我們可以持到相應的空間已經擴展出來可以使用了

系統重裝后的重裝擴展處理!

重裝后,直接執行resize2fs進去動態擴容即可。

resize2fs /dev/VolGroup00/LogVol00

PVs missing導致LVM無法重新擴容的解決辦法!

運行vgextend、vgdisplay返回錯誤:

Couldn’t find device with uuid ************************

Cannot change VG VolGroup00 while PVs are missing.
此時可以運行

vgreduce VolGroup00  removemissing

然后重新擴容LVM即可
